Women Can Be Angels was pleased to participate in the very first Nashville Angel Investor Education Night held on June 21st at the Nashville Entrepreneur Center. This event was presented by AIM Group in conjunction with the Nashville Entrepreneur Center and with the support of Baker Donelson. This informational program was uniquely designed to encourage 1st-time angel investors to learn about how angel investing works and how to get involved. AIM Group's very own Jim Corman presented on a panel along side several other veteran angel investors. During this community educational event, we learned about the basics of angel investing, reviewed two different examples of angel funded deals, and discussed what to consider when evaluating start-up and early stage investment opportunities.
